Days 1 New Delhi
Arrival at New Delhi and meet our representative and then transfer to hotel for overnight halt.

Day 02: New Delhi
After breakfast, sight seeing of the capital city of India. After lunch drive towards Agra. O/N at Hotel in Agra.

Days 3 to 6. Agra, Jaipur and Udaipur
Markha Valley Trekking A full day of viewing the awe-inspiring Taj Mahal and the Agra Fort before visiting the deserted sandstone city of Fatehpur Sikri. Continue on to the 'pink city' of Jaipur full of intricate historical buildings including the famous Palace of Winds and Observatory. Wander round the magnificent Amber Fort before travelling by overnight sleeper train to the enchanting city of Udaipur, nestling serenely on the shores of Lake Pichola.

Days 7 to 12. Aravali Mountain Trekking
This unique trekking itinerary takes you from the tribal village of Saira, through a forest reserve with excellent bird-watching to the holy Jain temple of Ranakpur, located in a picturesque valley surrounded by rocky hills. Continue to Kumbhalgarh, a mediaeval citadel perched high up at 1914 metres. Discover the palaces, temples and far-reaching views of the ruined fortress. This unusual walking route takes you through the Aravali Mountains. Even at these heights there are many ancient temples and intriguing architectural ruins. Traverse grasslands, low sand dunes, narrow fertile valleys, semi-desert and isolated farming villages with every opportunity to interact with the villagers and experience their culture close at hand. Witness the colourful markets of Ghanerao and Jojawar, spot local wildlife and enjoy daily trekking of approximately six hours, interspersed with nights in a mix of heritage hotels, hill resorts and a forest camp.

Days 13 and 14. Jodhpur and Jaisalmer
A change of pace as you head off first to Jodhpur to visit the city's beautiful forts and palaces and then onto Jaisalmere, a remote desert citadel famous for its carved havelies, cobbled streets and ancient Jain temples.

Days 15 to 17. Camel Safari
Camel Safari in RajasthanAnd now for something completely different! The camel safari will take you through the villages of the Thar Desert where there is ample time to gain firsthand knowledge of this rustic environment, admire the real Rajasthan and mingle with the local villagers. Camping under the millions of stars will be an experience you will fondly remember, as will the friendliness and hospitality of the Rajasthanis. Board the overnight sleeper train to Jodhpur.

Days 18 to 20. Old and New Delhi
A short flight back to New Delhi and time to relax before taking in a full day's sightseeing including the Sikh temple, a fascinating place where volunteers prepare and serve food to their fellow worshippers as part of their commitment to their faith. An evening departure brings you back to the UK the following morning.
